CS:GO Black screen + exit upon start

Hey all,

Whenever I start CS:GO from steam, I get a black screen and after a little while (10 seconds or so), it crashes. I've tried running the game from command line and saw I was missing a few libraries, which I have installed. (both 64 and 32 bits)

I am using Ubuntu Mate 14.10 (x64) and the nVidia 331.113-updates drivers

This problem occurs on both my laptop and desktop, using the same OS and nVidia drivers.

Can anyone point me into the right direction as to solving this issue? Thanks in advance!

This issue is resolved in Ubuntu 15.04, using the exact same game files (they were on a seperate partition when I upgraded) - I think it has to do with the nVidia drivers.
