Like the tutorial said. It's working on Ubuntu. I don't know how long this setup will hold up.
On my Centos machine, it's not working at all. Maillog still says bounced from gmail due to possible spamming...

These machines are on different IP addresses, I presume? Did you run tests for the CentOS one at mxtoolbox.com to see if your IP has been blacklisted or tagged as an open relay?

They are the same, I only have a single public IP. I think it has something to do with certificates or identity which is already configured too.

If the ubuntu solution lasts, then I'll probably stick with it.

i wonder if really "revaliases" has anything to do with it.

it's not that the ssmtp is not working. it was actualyl easy to setup, but the issue is it got blocked.

and lately Google is just running me in circles. before when i received their message to try again all i did was try to loging again and then authenticate i am huiman by tying in the letters. this time however it just throws me back to their page when i can again request the account to be unlocked.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
