I can't make the FGLRX work fine on my ATI Radeon 7610M.
I have installed Xubuntu on my Toshiba C855-2J5. Some days ago I've installed FGLRX and it worked fine for 1 day. I was able to play some games from steam with good performance, but the next day (after a reboot) the drivers have stopped to work.
When I remove them (apt-get purge fglrx*) the screen works fine, but when I install FGLRX I see the screen with a lot of horizontal stripes (look at my avatar) and the desktop is not aligned to the screen (I'll post a screenshot if you need it).
I can't understand why FGLRX worked fine for a day and the following day it stopped to work. I have had 2 Notebooks with ATI cards and I was never able to enable FGRLX on them.
