    There are numerous ways to do that. Search the internet for "extract subtitles from a mvk linux" and you'll see hundreds of options. Are you looking for a command line or GUI tool?

    For a command-line solution, you can install mkvtoolnix from the repositorites. Once it's installed, use the mkvextract utility. For usage details, type "man mkvextract" at a command prompt.
