Desktop Icons and two desktops

Using 14.04 Lubuntu. PcManFM is said to manage the desktop on lubuntu.

I found the file ~/.config/pcmanfm/lubuntu/desktop-items-0.conf appears to have all the desktop items in it.

When switching between 2 desktops, is it possible to have two different desktop item arrangements ?

For example, if I want some icons on desktop #1, but none on desktop #2, can I do that ?

By desktops I mean different work spaces, no dual monitors, and also not multiple different desktop managers.
