Hide Network Section (Nautilus)?

I guess this is part of Samba and Nautilus integration that lets you browse a Windows network under Ubuntu?

Anyway, I don't need this feature and I want to hide the "Network" section completely....How do I do it? No way to disable it within Nautilus' preferences

Is this even possible?

Because its been several days now and seemingly noone knows how to hide that subsection....Also, no working solution exists after spending an hour or 2 "googling" for a potential resolution....

It doesn't seem it is even possible to hide it so I have raised a bug report on Launchpad against Nautilus.

If you'd like to be able to hide that section as well (because you don't use it and it looks ugly), please confirm my bug report linked below;
