Samsung M3 1TB USB 3.0 Slimline Portable Hard Drive compatibility?

I have purchased a Samsung M3 1TB USB 3.0 Slimline Portable Hard Drive, it is compatible with my Win 7 desktop (USB 2.0 backwards compatibility). Does anyone know of any compatibility/driver issues with a device like this with Ubuntu?

Unless it uses special encryption software, it should automatically be compatible with Linux. Every USB drive I've ever tried has worked in Linux.
