    Lubuntu 14.04 still fits on a CD. You cannot install anything on the computers at your school, but can you at least download the Lubuntu ISO on the school computers? That should not require admin permission.. Once you have downloaded the ISO, can you then burn the ISO to a CD at school. If you are not allowed to do that, merely copy the ISO to a flash drive and take it to a friend's computer where you can burn it to a CD or a flash drive to make it bootable. Once you have done that you can install it to your computer.

    Yes, there are many other ways

    There are many tools and methods to make a USB boot drive from an iso file. See this link and links from it.

    I think it is easier and more convenient than to make a CD, but both ways are possible and fairly easy. Furthermore, you can make a persistent USB drive or an installed system as second and third steps according to the following link

    Try Ubuntu (Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, ...) before installing it

    Found out that the easiest way was to just ask the admin to log in and then install it to a usb then solved Thanks for all the answers!
