Ubuntu 14.10 (or 15.04) on ASUS EeeBook X205TA

I know that the old linux kernel is not kind to Intel Bay Trail structure, so I prefer to use newer kernel(3.16 up) to run on ASUS EeeBook X205TA.

Does anyone run Ubuntu 14.10 or 15.04(or other distro) on ASUS EeeBook X205TA successfully? The success means wifi, bluetooth, sd card, ..... can also work.

My X205TA-DH01 is in the mail and determined to get Lubuntu up and working. Would be great to hear about others experiences as well!

Found this guide on how to install without wireless and sound. It's three months since then, any news?

...which I started some time ago. It seems we have wifi and access to the SD card now. Sound is still not working, and I'm not sure about hotkey support, multi touch and power settings (sleep, etc).

Who would you have to beg to get the NVRAM zip? The link no longer works and it seems the forum posters on the forum you started ignore it.
