Kdenlive audio out of sync after certain points

I'm getting extremely frustrated with kdenlive because I'm making a documentary, and at a seemingly random point in the film, i cannot preview accurately. Before around 00:04:30:17, I can put my cursor down and play the video just fine. It syncs up perfectly with the timeline. After that time, however, the audio gets around 1 second behind the waveform on the timeline. I don't know what to do. I've tried saving, rebooting my computer, rebooting kdenlive, everything I can think of.

Demux the audio from your film clip and enter it in Kdenlive as a separate track.
