Seems the puritan linux (not ubuntu) community can get pretty anal about this.

Why?

first time where the "open" and "you do what you want" philosophy has been bared off so haneously in ubuntu.

I mean literally efforts have been put into making sure that particular bit of configurability was completely and utterly unavailable. The Dconf key is not there.


Now I've been using ubuntu since 8.4

I know how to terminal mv as much as the next guy.


But I know what I want. I like to pimp my OS to my liking. And whether you all like it or not I'm going to gather a critical mass for this feature. Common now who's with me?

Has anybody found a solution? an app that would alter nautilu's behaviour to the desired result?
