    The importance of setting you video card memory

    I normally end up using "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-org" to configure my graphics. Today I realised that I've been putting entering video memory in MB when I should've been putting it in kb! Since changing all my systems to the right settings they are working a wee bit snappier. So all I can say is, when it it comes to putting the amount of video memory in, try to put in the correct value

    don't put it in. Let it autodetect xD. works for me. Or are you screwed having shared vram?
