    People having problems installing Dropbox?

Over the past few months, I've come across a few threads of people having problems installing Dropbox. A common feature seems to be that they subsequently can't update anything!
    Here's the latest: http://askubuntu.com/questions/55049...able-to-update

The others have been here at UF. I'll search for those threads and post them here.

perhaps they should ask dropbox about this?
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla

Re: People having problems installing Dropbox?

The nautilus-dropbox package typically pops up a window requesting that Nautilus be restarted. Perhaps the popup is obscured by Software Center, which appears to stall out waiting for the user to deal with it.

I prefer using Synaptic or Gdebi to install packages. Unlike Software Center, they display error messages.
