It's a shame Ford hasn't seen fit to sell the Ranger available in other parts of the world in the U.S. though perhaps that's changing?

I don't know the the new ones are as durable as the old ones though. I had an '84 that got totalled, got around $2500 for it and could do with it what I wanted. The damage was mostly cosmetic so got a door from a junk yard, cheap flimsy body panels, a front wheel hub and some wrenches and hammers. May have cost me $500, no more. Fixed it up, maaco paint job and drove it for several more years. It had a 2.9L German V6 that at 150,000 would still got 5000 miles between oil changes without adding any. Not stylish but would certainly take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. And it'd haul a full sheet of plywood.
