    Question Configuring desktop effects?

I just tried the new Gnome using the live iso at ubuntugnome.org, but there's something I'd like to know before installing this desktop.
Basically, I couldn't find a way to disable the dialog animations that appear when trying to overwrite a file, for example. I don't want to disable all effects, just those animations.
In Cinnamon (which is based on Gnome) these settings can be configured easily. Is this possible in Gnome too?
    Thanks in advance

There are many extensions for the Gnome Shell and you can look through them and decide if they suit your needs. I use the Gnome Shell as a second session with Ubuntu and have never tried to disable dialogs.
