RCT2 on Xubuntu 14.04

It worked on this machine under 12.04, but not now. After it appears to install and I try to run the program, it tells me it can't locate the disc. However, disc is still in the same (and only) drive. Any ideas? I have uninstalled Wine and the game and reinstalled several times, but same outcome.

This is likely caused by some change in the kernel. Since RCT2 is only supported on Windows, your most likely source for a solution is from the Wine community.
