Running 2 copies live u14.04.1 neither has Workplace Switcher on Launcher or elsewhe

I am running live u14.04.1 on two computers neither copy has Workspace Swicher on launcher or anywhere else. WP Switcher is supposed to be permanent on launcher. In addition Window W key combo [display all open windows] only works for applications. Does not work for multiple disk file systems displays. How do I see the complete tag list when posting threads?

When I was using Ubuntu I had to enable the workspaces. They were never on by default, even in live mode.
