    Ubuntu 14.04LTS + xfce won't boot

Hi, I ran intro troubles after installing xfce4 in my machine with Ubuntu 14.04.
    Description:
I have Ubuntu 14.04 -64LTS in my computer at work with the classic gnome 3 desktop, and after not finding myself at home with the desktop environmet, I decided to try xfce.
    Code:
    apt-get install xfce4
The installation went fine so I decided to reboot the computer.
The computer restarted, and after the bios screen, there is a blinking cursor and nothing
happened afterwards. The computer has Unity and Gnome classic desktop installed.
I'll try puppy linux to check the boot files but I have no idea what happened.
I'm sorry that I don't have more info but that's what happened.
I remember installing xfce, openbox before in older ubuntu distros without any troubles.
Any suggestions to help improve this situation are welcome!
    Thanks in advance,
    Best.
    Sebastian

[SOLVED] Re: Ubuntu 14.04LTS + xfce won't boot

Actually it was a problem with thr RAID boot configuration that got messed up and had nothing to do with the installed xfce.
I'm labeling this a [SOLVED]. Best, Sebastian
