    Best practices on desktop imaging

    Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of switching from Windows to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

At this time, I have build a system which I would like to image for the purpose of duplicating it to other desktops and laptops.
However, as this is all new to me, I don't know where to start with this.
I tried obvious searches through Google and AskUbuntu with no usefull starting point.
I tried with terms like "create custom image" and "ubuntu create custom build".
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks - Will

Will you have the same hardware on each computer and laptop? Usually, I image based on the hardware in Windows. I get 16 identical workstations.

Thanks for the quick response - great!

No - unfortunately, the hardware will be different for each computer.

It might be less issues doing a clean install each time.
