    Gnome OpenBox 14.04

I have been playing with a new build (from scratch). OpenBox with only gnome-panel (no flashback) and using pcmanfm for a file manager (gots to have dual pane).

What I would like to do next is replace the OB right context menu with the gnome context menu.

I have tried to create a ~/.config/menu.xml to configure such a setup. Not getting anywhere so far.

Also tried removing the OB context menu in /etc/xdg/openbox. This seems to be a bad idea as it makes the desktop unusable.

Anyone ever try anything like this?

Stumbled across a new package in 14o4. Openbox-gnome-session

Seems to be broke at the moment. Maybe by the time 14.10 is released, it will work.

    Update

Lxde-core and gnome-panel seem to be a good mix.

And since I seem to be the only one who would post about such things...solved for now
