LTSP Fat Client Help

I'm not too linux savvy, but I'm trying to convert all of the thin clients on my LTSP to fat clients, and could use as much help as I can get.

I'm a 2nd grade teacher that currently has 13 thin clients running off of my LTSP server, but my little server just isn't powerful enough to handle all of them, but I know that they would each have enough power on their own to run our programs.
They are all Core 2 Duos with 2gb ram.

My issue is that I have no idea how to properly convert them to fat clients, and I can't find a good step-by-step guide to do so, so any help would be appreciated.
