    Browse after installed applications

    I there a way o see which application I have installed in Unity?

    In a classic desktop you have menue organized in categories (Internet, Office, Multimedia and more) How do you find an application, you hafe forgot the name for?

    Ubuntu 16.04LTS 64bit, 16.04 Lubuntu 32-bit on eeePCs and OSX on a G4 800MHz iMac (iLamp). I think I have an W7 on one of my Virtualbox machine under 16.04LTS?

    You can browse categories in the dash...see attached vid.(900kb)

    Can't remember name ...try some searches which relate to the progam your looking for.
    ..and if you want you can install ClassicMenu Indicator
