Need an encryption tool with GUI

    Hi,

I am searching for an encryption tool like TrueCrypt which can create mountable encrypted volumes.

I want this mainly because I want to back up some sensitive data to the cloud.

Please suggest me something which has strong encryption capabilities and has a GUI frontend.

TrueCrypt is still available via their PPA
    Code:
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stefansundin/truecrypt
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install truecrypt

truecrypt.ch or crypt shack or whatever it's name will be is continuing the work along with another group and new version is being audited. they managed to get the funding for it from some big players.

It was never discovered what the vulnerability of truecrypt was. the true reason of discontinuation therefore seems to remain a mystery. and it was developed by basically an unknown entity.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
