One click concatenation

I thought this would be easy ... but darned if I can get it to work.

I would like to create a command which would, after a prescribed period of time start mplayer playing an mp3 file ... and repeat that after the same period and continue this until I abort it.

So ... wait x minutes, play mp3, wait x minutes, play mp3, wai ...

And all this so that I can make it an icon ... and start the process with a desktop click.

Anyone know how.

Starting the second at command "automatically" ... and therefore, presumably, subsequent ones ...
