Kate+octave terminal (ubuntu)

I'm using octave with QtOctave. I have small problems with him (the greeks symbols, don't appear in the "print" graphic with Octave 3.8.1 updateand several bugs). Some day ago I decided using a external editor (Kate, Cantor etc...Emacs too). Kate is the more friendly for me. So, I used this guidelines (http://wiki.octave.org/Kate), all items were made. Is all Ok!! The terminal in the Kate editor don't appear. The code (here) work for me in QtOctave (exporting the archive). The same code in the Kate editor don't work (compile etc) and the figure isn't exported. I need a Help for this....thanks for attention.
Programs: Ubuntu 13.10 - Octave 3.8.1 and Kate 3.11.5

Hay, as for the greek symbols, I ran into errors with them printing when using either LaTEX or TEX interpreters.
