    For those wondering, Ubuntu 14.04 will move on to 14.04.1 when we run a normal update. Afterwards run this command

    Code:
    lsb_release -a
    And that will indicate if you are on 14.04 or 14.04.1.

    Thanks...just ran that command in my terminal on 14.04 and it says 14.04.1
