Difference in sound between Linux and Windows

    Hi,

I am using windows 7 and there's always a slight buzzing noise when playing audio/video, which increases when I install Realtek HD Audio Manager, while on Xubuntu, there's none. Can this information help me find a fix? Thanks

So, You are having buzzing sound issue on Win7? If so, you are better of reaching out to Win7 forums.
If you don't have this issue in Xubuntu, it could be the win7 drivers for your audio device.

I would suggest going to sevenforums.com and posting there. From what I recall, there was an obscure setting in the Realtek audio software in windows that caused the buzzing -- but you would get help if you posted this to the Win7 forum I suggested.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.
