Cinnamon Panel Calendar Doesn't Refresh Time

Am running Cinnamon 2.2 on Ubuntu 14.04. I've tried both the default calendar panel applet, and the world calendar panel applet, and had some difficulties with the applet appearing at all, regardless of being installed. Changing the configuration settings, somehow will get it to appear, but the clock never gets updated. If I restart Cinnamon the calendar will disappear from the panel until I go through the reconfiguration exercise.


My system clock is properly up-to-date and shows the correct time in lock screen, or on the Time and Date desklet that I have setup.


I've tried changing themes, but that doesn't do anything.

The same for me in Mint Debian Edition. Seems to be a panel issue. Before the update everything was ok. We probably have to wait for further update, that solves the problem.
