The Keyboard on Samsung Laptop is crazy - help needed

    Hi everyone,

I have a weird problem. On Windows 7 and GNU/Linux (Ubuntu family), the keyboard is either not working or it works for few seconds then stops.

When it stops working, whatever I type, the machine takes that as Shorcut or hotkeys. Like Alt+S or stuff like that.

If I press D on the LiveUSB of Xubuntu 14.04 and Mousepad opened, it takes that as Save As.
If I press A, it takes that as Select All.

So basically, no matter what I do, that will be as a Shortcut.

Note that it worked at the beginning only when I boot the machine with either Windows 7 OR Xubuntu 14.04 LiveUSB - see the above picture. Suddenly, it stops!

Any idea? never had this issue in my entire life before

    Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to mention that the issue is happening even before I login to the system.

On UNetbootin Menu, I can't move the cursor and this is even before the LiveDesktop will show up.

I however can press Alt+Ctrl+Del and it works.

Yes, I made sure Ctrl key is not stuck but that didn't change anything.

On both Windows 7 and *buntu 14.04, the keyboard worked for few moments then stopped. I managed to type from all the keys then suddenly, it stopped and started to do shortcuts or hotkeys instead of the real characters on the keys.

I did clean the machine but that didn't change anything.

    Never had this issue before.

I advised my neighbour either to get external USB keyboard or replace the internal one and then they have to pay more.

    Weird case ...
