    Where is the screensaver settings in ubuntu 14.04 with Xfce DE?

    Where is the screensaver settings? I want to set a screensaver image to come up but I cant find it.

    I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Xfce DE.

    Screensavers have been removed from the default applications in 14.04. If you want them back I suggest you add xscreensaver, not gnome-screensaver as it is much better and a lot more configurable. You may need to remove or disable light-locker, depending on whether it is installed with xfce (it comes with Xubuntu but not sure about adding xfce to ubuntu) as it may conflict with screen locking settings in xscreensaver.

    I just realized that if I remove light locker the screen kept dimming in middle of watching videos. I got light locker to solve that and now I'm fearful it'll dim the screen again if I remove light locker. So..........

    I think I'll give it a try and remove it if something goes wrong again. Thanks for the info.
