Asus Q500a - Ubuntu 14.04 - i5-3230, 6 Gb ram

Suspending by closing the lid on the laptop, opening the lid will not resume. If I touch any key, Ubuntu "wakes up" and all is well. I would like to be able to have the laptop "wakeup" with the "lid open" event.

This is the content of /proc/acpi/wakeup

Suggestions? Are there other files which control the "LID" open event in Ubuntu?
