Hello! I recently added a PS/2 keyboard to my laptop using one of the horrible cheap PS/2 - USB adapters. All is well and good, and while I'm taking the hint that keys that get nothing out of them will never get anything out of them, the keyboard comes with some hotkeys (empty, assuming they could be programmed on the Windows 98 computer, but are labelled HK1-4), and some media keys (play, stop, next, prev., vol+, vol-, mute) and sleep.
Of the keys that work, they print letters that are seemingly unrelated, rather than pertaining to their intended function.
g =play
j = stop
c = prev
p = next
h = close program
m = HK1
And so it goes on. Volume + does nothing but Vol- prints a.

I'm assuming that since the keyboard is printing something, the keys are being recognised by the computer and can therefore be mapped to something else. But I don't know where to go from here, as I don't now want the 'a' key to make the volume go up, I want the Vol+ key to do so instead of printing 'a'. Any help is vastly appreciated.

Thanks.
