How do I edit the keyring?

My keyring keeps popping up asking for my password: as far as I know the only thing using it was Ubuntu One which I have now removed.
How do I get into it to edit this - or is it OK to uninstall the keyring? This is my laptop - Xubuntu 12.10.

1) Open Applications --> Accessories -->Password and Encryption Keys
2) Right-click on the "login" keyring
3) Select "Change Password"
4) Enter your old password and leave the new password blank
5) Press ok, read the security warning, think about it and if you still want to get rid of the Unlock Login Keyring dialog, choose "use unsafe storage"

No, not OK to use an EoL (end of life) version. Please either use 12.04 or the current 14.04 (both are LTS - Long Term Support).
