I don't have trine but i absolutely loved Trine 2 and it ran flawlessly on my linux gaming rig. I will definitely be buying trine after they update the client.

I am a big fan of both Trine and Trine 2, bought both and have been very happy with them. Will be glad to see the original Trine coming to Steam.

It appears they ported Trine 1 to Trine 2 engine: http://frozenbyte.com/2014/06/trine-...beta-on-steam/
Beta will be Windows only at first, later Linux and Mac versions will follow.
