HP Laserjet P1007 installation in Linux Ubuntu 14.04

Yesterday Ubuntu 14.04 was installed in my desktop. Previously it was Windows XP. HP Laserjet P1070 was working in earlier OS, but in new atmosphere print is not coming out from the Printer. After installation of Ubuntu 14.04, Printer could be located by the system, but even then it is not working. Need assistance.

I am wondering if there are some 14.04 and HP problems that may perhaps warrant a bug report

Thanks PDC. With your suggestion problem could be solved. I given the command "sudo hp-setup" in the terminal and after installation of the required hp cups now it is working fine. Thanks again.
