    Think they are still ironing out the last few bugs. Imminent

    There are two nasty bugs in the Precise -> Trusty upgrade process:

    Upgraded to 14.04 today, using update manager, everything appears to have went well. Reinstalled System76 driver. Thanks again for the help and advice, everyone.
