segmentation fault problem; kompozer doesn't run.

In my earlier post I found that reverting to an earlier version of the program appeared to solve the problem.
That appears not to be the case.
I used it for two days and this morning found I have the same problem.

I haven't re-installed Tidy or Bluefish. Instead I configured Gedit for HTML and CSS indentation and highlighting.

This time I'm going to take a different approach and would appreciate input from those who may have been through something similar.

I am going to begin by finding and examining kompozer.ini. - hopefully I'll pick up some clues there.
    ------ edit --------
ok, there doesn't seem to be a kompozer.ini per se, there are profiles both global and usr.
I checked what extensions were installed and found only the theme is installed.

I'm considering installing a debugger and trying to use it to find the problem.

However, I feel this may be similar to finding a problem you can use Perl to solve:Now you have two problems!

Ok. Now I'm completely at a loss.

    I went to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/i...zer/1:0.8~b1-2 and downloaded kompozer_0.8~b1-2_i386.deb (6.4 MiB)
I opened it with package manager and installed it.

    About composer says:

    Why in the world ...
None the less, again kompozer works again

I do not have any idea what's going on!
