Bought new laptop, Toshiba Satelite L50-A. Installed Ubuntu 12.04. Touchpad does not work. Touchpad setings appear under mouse/touchpad but don't seem to provide any options to get the touchpad working.

This is not a dual boot. Windows was overriden deliberately) when I set up the laptop with Ubuntu.
