Question How to reduce the time of network waiting at the beginning of computer start

At home, the network of my notebook is ADSL.At office, the network of the same notebook is LAN.
The problem is at office the notebook can start quickly. But at home, when i start my notebook,I have to wait a minute for the networking configure. How to reduce the waiting time at home(ADSL networking).
I hope both at home and at office the ubuntu notebook can start quickly!
The Ubuntu version on my comuputer is 14.04.

    Thank u very much!

I'm going to assume that you have wireless at both home and office. What model of wireless modem is used at work? What model of wirelss modem is used at home? What is the price difference between the two?

    For example:

    Office, Cisco router, $3000
    Home, Netgear router, $80

For quicker connection at home, spend $3000.

You can speed up the connection a little by setting up a static IP address on your notebook so that your router doesn't have to spend the time to assign an IP address.
