Old account recovery

Hi!

I've updated to the SSO, however it didn't correctly pull over my old account. I've updated the default email in SSO so it should be the same as the one on my old account.

The email in the Clay_Banger account was changed in 2008 to a hotmail address so, assuming you have set the hotmail address as preferred in your Ubuntu One account, I have disassociated this forum account from Ubuntu One. Try logging out of the forum and back in again.

Just to add - you won't be able to post to this thread as Clay_Banger. If you are successful, please pm me to confirm this and I will disable this michael-clayfield account.

Thanks for your assistance in the forum, however my account did not switch over to my old Clay_Banger one. I have corrected my preferred email again as this change didn't appear to stick the first time.

It's best if we carry this on here, unless you need to pm me confidential information, so that other admins can deal with this if I am unavailable.

I have disassociated this account from Ubuntu One again. The only way I can see for it to have re-associated is if the gmail was still set as preferred in your Ubuntu One account. If the hotmail is set as preferred - not simply as one of a number of email addresses - then you should log into the Clay_Banger account next time.
