    Unable to mount location

    Hi,
Yesterday I installed Linux Mint 14 and I have a little problem. Before this OS change, I used only Windows XP and I had two disk partitions:C(where I used to have my OS files) and D(where I used to have my personal files). After I installed Linux, My Computer looks like this http://postimg.org/image/voontrq93/ , and when I try to enter in "164 GB Hard Disk" I get this error http://postimg.org/image/8dixnn5if/ :Unabled to mount location. Can't mount file. In this partition I have some important files, so I would like to solve this problem without losing any of them.
I am newbie, so please explain me how to solve this problem step by step.
    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Unable to mount location

Thread moved to Other OS/Distro Support.

Linux Mint is not supported in the main support forums here. They have a vibrant community at their own forum and you may like to post there also. Welcome and good luck.
