Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me with this minor but niggling problem. I run Ubuntu on three machines, all of which I use for graphics and have calibrated displays on. One machine out of the three has to have the colour profile set manually on each reboot - the profile is stored and in the colour settings it shows as active, but it's not been applied. To get it working is simple: I click on the default profile check box, and then the calibrated profile and everything is fine.

This happens in both KDE and Unity, and has been resident through several upgrades (currently running 14.04). I'm sure it's probably a result of not reinstalling from scratch with every new version, but I really don't want to nuke an otherwise stable machine for something so trivial which is most likely a simple permissions problem.

Trouble is, I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting... If anyone has pointers, I'd be enormously grateful.
