    My user experience was greatly enhanced when I installed gnome flash back choosing metacity.

    Same here, I tried it out when it was still called "gnome fallback" --but the trouble is, can you really count on it being available and maintained in the future, and for how long? I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
