Exclamation Terminal Edit Menu and Running commands

I'm trying to install RVM in Ubuntu 12.04, which I recently installed. Per these directions http://installfest.railsbridge.org/i...erating_system, I need to pull up the "Terminal's edit menu" and check the box to Run command as a login Shell.

The problem is, when I right click in the Terminal, no "edit menu" pulls up. So, I can't install RVM, per the directions above, until I can do so.

Does anyone know why I can't pull up an edit menu in Terminal?

Instead of right clicking go to edit>profile preferences>Title and Command

    Hope this helps

As an update, I figured it out. The reason I wasn't able to pull up an edit menu in the Terminal is because I wasn't using the Gnome Terminal. After installing it from the Software Center, it pulled without an issue. This post is closed.
