    Hi Andrew,

    I bought the system I showed you. Other than the wifi which does not work at all, everything else is well. I also bought an Epson V550 scanner that I had a hard time trying to configure to get it to work with Ubuntu 14.04. Currently, I am using Kdenlive to work on a video project and it is goin well.

    Good thing you went for the Intel i7, rather than an AMD. I have found that an Ivybridge Intel i5 mobile at 2.5 GHz is as fast in video encoding as an AMD FX8320 overlcocked to 4 GHz. I am not an Intel fan at all, but I was very surprised to see this outcome on my laptop and pc.
