Red letters with my username among them just waked me from casual reading this forum: Hello zika, this is NOT a standard support forum Once a development version has been released, support requests for it should be placed in a suitable Support Forum You've got me...
Ah, the magic of variables. Mine says: Hello coffeecat, this is NOT a standard support forum Once a development version has been released, support requests for it should be placed in a suitable Support Forum Anyway, what it means is that since 14.04 has now been released, please post new support questions or discussions about 14.04 in the appropriate areas of the forum - not this one. Until the development of 14.10 starts we don't really expect there to be much of a need for new threads here. Old threads that turn into regular support discussions will be moved into other sections - as they were six months ago.

I find it kinda spooky when a machine spits out my name. Then I remember that I gave it my name. At least someone has decide that 14.04 has been well and truly released. So many people have been doubting that over the last few hours. And a lot of people are finding bugs within minutes of upgrading/installing. Pity they were not testers. Still no word from Mark on the new code name for the next cycle. I have noticed that 14.04 will get its first point release in 14 weeks time with 12.04 getting its 5th point release 2 weeks later. Nothing stays the same. Regards.
