Unable to open folders within the home folder

    Hi,

I hope someone can help me, I'm ripping my hair out here...

For some reason, whenever I try to access any folder within my home folder my laptop freezes trying to open the chosen folder and it never opens, I can still do other stuff on the laptop, I can even close down the frozen screen using the X.

When I open the home folder it opens fine and displays the folder within the home folder.

    Any ideas?
I've seen the light, I've come over to the dark side.....

Do you have particular files in your /home? Or a very large number of files ?
