    mail server suggestion

    Hello,

    I have a VPS with ubuntu 12.04 32-bit.
I want to setup a mail server simply to send/receive emails via my domain(s). I'm looking for something really simple and easy to setup. I looked up citadel, but so many threads popping up that it is buggy on 12.04. Also the the tuts I found for Zimbra are for 10.04.

Any simple mail server for a newbie?

    Mail servers are not simple...

I suggest Citadel Easy Install: http://www.citadel.org/doku.php/inst...ll:easyinstall

    Where, what tuts are those?
How to Install Zimbra 8.0.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

The simplest I have found so far is iRedMail. It comes with its automated installer.
Here's the official doc with full screenshots http://www.iredmail.org/install_iredmail_on_ubuntu.html

Or this, though I've had better success with keeping my mail server updated after doing it from scratch instead of having to deal with upgrading iRedMail itself.
