Driver do not work for printer lexmark z34 and x1170

Hello,

right this. I searched them via the ubuntu printer help.

For z34: Printer shows as driver but does not print. Makes some noise though.

F0r x1170: Does not even show, althogh the system said it found a driver. I want to use the scanner from it, scan program does not find it as well.

Thanks for all help! Please note, I am an utter rookie.

Update: Even under Windows VMware it does not even recognize one of them. So usb?
