    Synaptic Package Manager & rhythmbox

    since past two or three updates, I now have synaptic package manager, and rythmbox autostarting on a reboot login and neither are selected to be starting in the gnome-session-properties. Would like to know why and how to stop it.

    Yeah. I had firefox and thunar doing that as well w hen I had kubuntu on my laptop. I went to start up entries or desktop settings to fix it. I believe desktop settings and had to uncheck something. Was strange the issue ever existed. Don't have it installed anymore so i can't give you better detail. But desktop settings had it

    I'm confused, are you using Kubuntu or Gnome?
